Red diesel is for off-road equipment, including agricultural and farming machinery, construction vehicles, mining engines, and generators. It is restricted for off-road use, with different tax regulations that usually make it more affordable per gallon than standard road diesel.
Farm diesel is the same diesel as red dyed diesel or off-road diesel. This type of diesel is used for off-road vehicles, like farm equipment, construction vehicles, or generators. Some Alon stations offer this type of diesel – check out our store locator for details.
